Redlands Community College is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the position
of Peer Tutor for the Title IV Student Support Services (SSS) Grant. This is a part-time
student position working up to 20 hours per week for a federally-funded grant program.
Responsibilities include:provide tutoring for TRIO SSS students and lead group study sessions; participate
in TRIO SSS workshops and cultural events; and work as an advocate for those they
tutor when appropriate.
Qualifications include:ability to quickly establish rapport with students, staff, faculty, and TRIO SSS program
staff; have a college transcript that reflects previous academic success with a grade
of “B” or better in any course for which tutoring will be provided; and be enrolled
in at least six (6) credit hours at Redlands Community College. Preference will be
given to TRIO SSS students.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
