Part-time position(s)

Part-time position(s) working up to 25 hours per week. Livestock work primarily involves meat goats. 

Duties include: attending to live animals, which encompasses feeding, watering, herding, weighing, catching, and loading animals. Additional duties may include landscaping and maintenance on the Darlington campus, maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to perform general cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. They should also be capable of operating tractors, mowers, and string trimmers and must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Applicants must be able to tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures; as well as tolerate animal dander; and be willing to work a highly flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
