Part-time position(s) working up to 25 hours per week. Livestock work primarily involves
meat goats.
Duties include:attending to live animals, which encompasses feeding, watering, herding, weighing,
catching, and loading animals. Additional duties may include landscaping and maintenance
on the Darlington campus, maintaining records on animals, examining animals to detect
diseases and injuries, assisting in birth deliveries, and administering medications,
vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. Applicants must be able to perform general
cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing
areas. They should also be capable of operating tractors, mowers, and string trimmers
and must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Applicants must be able to tolerate
extreme cold and hot temperatures; as well as tolerate animal dander; and be willing
to work a highly flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Clery Statement
Redlands Community College is committed to providing a safe place to live, work, study
and visit. Part of this effort includes sharing information regarding the safety and
security of our campuses.
Redlands provides email notifications to all students, faculty and staff when a Clery
Crime occurs in or near Redlands Community College campus or any of its sites. These
notifications are primarily sent if the incident poses an ongoing safety threat as
determined by the President of the College or his designee. The act requires colleges
and universities to make “timely warnings,” known as “Safety Alerts” at Redlands,
to campus community members about specific types of crime if an ongoing threat is
believed to exist.
